| OVERVIEW:
Built in 1892, the Haveli symbolises the
finesse of traditional Rajput architecture. The
large elevated platform that dominates the
central area of the ground floor - once used for
get-togethers by the gentlemen of the house - is
now open to guests who can watch puppet shows
and folk dances while enjoying a leisurely snack
or drink.
The spacious lobby which opens into the chowk
(or inner courtyard) was, a century ago used
only by the ladies of the house, is now open to
guests for a tete-a-tete.
HOTEL FACILITIES:
The swimming pool offers a quiet place to get
away from the madding crowd. Folk dances and
puppet shows give you glimpses of the region's
history and culture. Essential services include
a doctor on call, room service, safe deposit,
car parking/rental and laundry. Internet access
keeps you in touch with the rest of the world
even as you enjoy a serene holiday.
Conferences - The conference hall is
18' x 33'. The seating plan is classroom type,
which can accommodate 36 to 50 people at a time.
Comprehensive conference aids such as TV,
Internet, overhead projector, computer screen
projector, fax, scanner, photocopier, paper
shredder, whiteboard and laser gun are
available.
DINING OUTLET:
The restaurant, Chandra Mahal, can
accommodate 80 people at a time, including one
banquet table for 22 persons. It has been
designed as a Durbar Hall of yore, echoing the
old Haveli ambience.
